Method 4: Disable one or More Extensions in the Web Browser

Step 1 ⇒ First, click on the Hamburger icon at the top left of the screen.

Step 2 ⇒ Then Select More tools option and click on Extensions.

Step 5 ⇒ If not, disable other extensions as well, and the ERR_CACHE_MISS issue will be resolved.

If this method is also not helping you then you should not be tensed and should try the next methods.

Method 5: Reset the Network Using Command Window

There are times when there is a problem with the network and we might get the ERR_CACHE_MISS error. We can solve this problem by using a command window to change the network settings to default. The given steps should be taken into account while using this method:

Step 1 ⇒ At First, Open the Command Window by typing cmd in the Run Window.

Step 2 ⇒ Then Run the Command Window as an Administrator.

After this method, any network error which had been there having been eliminated and the error has been removed. If you continue to see the error do not panic and follow the methods that are given.

Method 6: Disable Cache in the Web Browser

In this method, you would be required to use some Advanced Settings in Chrome. One such setting to prevent this error is Disabling Cache. In order to disable cache the following steps should be used:

Step 1  At First, Press Ctrl + Shift + I Followed by F1 Key. It will open the Settings Menu.

Step 2 ⇒ Then Check the Disable Cache option.

Step 3 ⇒ Afterward, Restart the Browser.

Method 7: Use the DevTools

DevTools (Developer Tools) is a collection of tools which can be used to terminate minor errors including ERR_CACHE_MISS by using the following steps:

Step 2 ⇒ Then In the DevTools window, select Application from the list of available options.

Method 8: Reset the Web Browser

Step 2  Then Click on Show Advanced Settings Option.
