Step 4. Now, go for Select driver names from a list and click Next.

Step 5. Then, you will come across the list of drivers along with their providers. Now, you need to select the drivers which are NOT provided by Microsoft. After that, press Next.

Step 6. After that, press Finish and restart your computer. Now, if it is running properly, try to encounter the error again and make sure to run this process again and again until you encounter this error. After encountering this error, Restart your PC and press Windows key + E. Then follow this path C: drive > Windows > Minidump. By following this path, you will encounter log file. Here search the log file to find the Driver which caused this error. After properly finding the faulty Driver you need to go to google’s official site and type the name of the file i.e. sys file name. This will help you to recognize the hardware, after recognizing hardware open the Run dialog box by pressing Windows + R. then, type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter. This will open Device Manager. If asked by UAC, then press Yes.

Step 7. After following the above steps, you need to look for a hardware device in Device Manager. In order to update driver software right click on the device and press Update Driver Software. If there is a new update error will be solved automatically. Or else the latest update can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s official site.

Step 8. After completing all the steps of troubleshooting, you need to revert the settings in Driver Verifier Manager. So, for that, search for a verifier in the search bar beside the Windows icon. Then, click on Delete existing settings in Device Verifier Manager and press Finish. Hit on Confirm and restart.

6. Run SFC Scan

To run SFC, follow the given instruction below.

Step 1. First of all, open the Command Prompt (Admin). By right-clicking on the Windows icon. Or you can start Command Prompt by pressing Windows key + X.

Step 2. After opening Command Prompt (Admin), type “sfc /scannow” (Without double quotes). This command will run an SFC scan. It is recommended not to skip this process and wait for some moments to complete it.
